Middleton Open Gardens (Suffolk)
This event is resting for 2020
Sorry, but Middleton Open Gardens (Suffolk) isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Middleton, near Saxmundham and Leiston, Suffolk
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2019
11.00am to 5.00pm
Some very different gardens will be open, including three new to our event: one set in five acres, another within a small old walled garden. A former market garden displays 100 year old wall topiary, while emphasis on attracting wildlife is paramount in another. Several projects are 'work in progress'. David Austin 'New English' roses scent the air in one. Others cleverly borrow the beautiful surrounding Suffolk landscape, another two are bordered by the Minsmere River. One gardener is also opening her art studio. Large garden sculptures by local artist Paul Richardson impress elsewhere. Gardens in a Wheelbarrow will again be featured.
Light lunches and Cream Teas available.
Proceeds to Holy Trinity Church and St. Elizabeth Hospice.
Plant sales: Katie's Garden Plant Centre sales.
Cost: £5.00 adults, accompanied children free.
How to get event passports: Maps available from our church, recreation ground pavilion, and Middleton Moor (B1122).
