Sorry, but Worsbrough Village Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 6 gardens opened Worsbrough Village, near Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Saturday 16th July 2016
11.00am to 5.00pm

There are five gardens centred in the village around the historic Church of St Mary and one in the neighbouring village of Birdwell.

Our church will be open all day and choristers will be singing from 4.30pm to 5.00pm. There will also be a short talk in our church at 12.00noon about the unique double-decker oak tomb of Sir Roger Rockley who died in 1553.

Tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes will be available from the Old Schoolroom in the grounds of the church. Home-made ice cream will be available at the Old Vicarage garden.

All proceeds to St. Mary's Church, Worsbrough.

Plant sales:  Plant sales at various gardens.

Cost:  2.00 adults, accompanied children free.

Directions:  Leave Junction 36 of M1 at Birdwell, follow A61 to Barnsley through Birdwell, turn right at junction with Worsbrough Road (about 1 mile). Keep on this road to Worsbrough Village - a further 1 mile.
