Sorry, but Heatons Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 21 gardens opened Heaton Moor, Stockport, Cheshire
Sunday 15th May 2016
12.00noon to 5.00pm

A good range of gardens will be open including a railway station garden. The gardens vary in size from small urban back yards to public spaces and large private gardens. A variety of planting and livestock is on show, all within walking distance in a pleasant city suburb.

Proceeds to various charities including The Alex Hulme Foundation and A.B.C Support Group for Special Needs Children.

Plant sales:  Plants, local honey, and afternoon teas are availiable at various gardens throughout the area.

Cost:  5.00 for two adults with accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:  A programme detailing all the gardens and including a map locating them throughout the area gains entry to all gardens. It is availiable throughout the area at shops, cafes, pubs and from any garden on the day

Directions:  From Manchester or Stockport - Northern Rail to Heaton Chapel Station, also the 192, 22, 84 busses to Heaton Moor, Heaton Mersey, and Heaton Chapel.
