Clevedon Open Gardens
Clevedon, south of Bristol, Somerset
Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June 2017
11.00am to 4.30pm (some gardens vary)
Garden lovers in North Somerset are in for a rare treat in June when some of our finest gardens in Clevedon will be open to the public. Organised by Clevedon Pride the Open Gardens weekend will give anyone and everyone the opportunity to explore the secrets of hidden and private gardens not usually open to the public.
Behind the stone walls and privets there are gardens which are truly astounding. Big ones, small ones and, quite frankly, some which just go on forever and some that open as NGS gardens.
The many delights include cottage gardens full of old favourites such as roses, clematis and mixed shrub borders; traditional Japanese inspired designs that create miniature idealised landscapes in a stylised manner and a truly innovative garden created by a local artist full of texture, colour and sculptural trees.
Proceeds to the hanging basket project.
