Spondon Open Gardens Social Safari

 approx 20 gardens open Spondon, east of Derby, Derbyshire
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July 2017

The annual event is organised by Spondon Village Improvement Committee and sees locals opening their gardens and driveways and inviting the community in.

Those who have travelled the Safari route in previous years speak warmly of the Community spirit and the warm welcome offered along the route.

Individual garden owners choose their own favourite cause and are also asked to make a contribution to the Village improvement Committee.

Cost:  No entry charge.

How to get event passports:  No entry fees, programme available in advance from the Library and village shops or download from the website below.

Number of gardens:  Approximately 20 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
