Pentyrch Open Gardens
This event ran in 2017 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.
Bronllwyn, Pentyrch, Cardiff
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2017
10.00am to 5.00pm (Sunday 11.00am start)
Visit many varied village gardens, open for a great day out in the pretty hilltop village of Pentyrch, which nestles beneath Garth Mountain, opposite Castell Coch, just outside Cardiff.
Our gardens vary from tiny bijou spaces to broad expanses with stunning views, from exotic jungle palms to manicured lawns with formal bedding schemes. There are productive vegetables, traditional cottage gardens, family gardens; almost everything can be found somewhere in the gardens of Pentyrch. The one feature that unites them is their owners' enthusiasm. We love our gardens and want to share them with you.
Homemade light refreshments are served all day in the village hall.
Proceeds in 2017 will go towards supporting George Thomas Hospice Care and projects to improve the village environment.
Plant sales: There will be a large plant sale.
Cost: £6.00 per person for entry to all gardens, children free.
How to get event passports: Entry is by purchasing a programme from the Village Hall.
