Ecclesfield Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2017
Sorry, but Ecclesfield Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 12 gardens opened Ecclesfield, north of Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2014
10.00am to 4.00pm (12.00noon to 5.00pm Sunday)

Ecclesfield is a village in South Yorkshire, 5 miles north of Sheffield City Centre. The village has an extremely large medieval church at its centre and the church will be the focal point for the open gardens.

12 gardens in the village will be open, ranging from quite small to large, together with the village community garden in the park. There will also be a raffle, plant stalls and other activities including a children's 'miniature garden' competition. Refreshments will be available both days at the church, as will toilet facilities. Our first Open Gardens event was held in 2012 and was a great success.

All proceeds will go to the church for the restoration fund.

Plant sales:  Plant sales at some of the gardens and at the church.

Cost:  3.00.

How to get event passports:  These will be on sale in advance at the church but visitors can pay on the day, either at the church or at any of the open gardens.

Directions:  Take junction 35 off the M1 motorway. Ecclesfield is signposted, about 1.5 miles.

Location:  Yorkshire  Use Sat Nav Postcode: S35 9XY (please verify before travelling)
