Coddenham Open Gardens and Scarecrows

11.00am to 4.30pm

As well as many lovely gardens to visit, most usually hidden from view and the beautiful church yard with a wonderful variety of wild flowers, we will have lots of scarecrows to spot and a mini-scarecrow I-Spy trail for children.

Other attrations include street style hot food, a Garden Shop, Suffolk Wildlife Trust in the church yard, and 100 Years of Coddenham Country Club exhibition in the club.

The scarecrow competition is being judged by famous comedian, actor and local resident Roy Hudd. Refreshments available.

All profits to St. Mary's Church and the Stone Foundation.

Plant sales:  Katie's Garden will be selling high quality plants by the village hall.

Cost:  Adults 4.00, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  On the day at the car park entrances.

Directions:  Coddenham is on the B1078, northwest of Ipswich. From A14, take junction 51 onto A140 and take first turning on the right onto the B1078. Coddenham is about two miles along this road. The car park is in School Road and will be signposted.
