approx 10 gardens opened Market Bosworth, near Hinckley, Leicestershire
Sunday 26th June 2016
1.00pm to 6.00pm

Market Bosworth are regular winners of gold medals in the East Midlands in Bloom competition. Ten gardens are so far committed to open but it is likely that a few others will join. Most of the gardens are close to the Market Place, and tickets will be available from a stall there, with a map showing garden locations and brief descriptions. Some of the more outlying gardens may also sell tickets.

There is a Farmers' Market taking place the same day, and, weather permitting, this is usually quite a lively event.

The town centre is close to the site of the Battle of Bosworth which took place in 1485. On the battlefield there is the award winning historical information centre. Within the boundaries of the town there is a large country park with a number of features including an arboretum and to the south of the town an extensive water park can be found.

Proceeds go to NGS charities and also to Bosworth in Bloom.
