Marsden Open Gardens

Gardens of varying styles will be open, including three new openers: a lovely hillside garden complete with folly, a tiny plot crammed with plants, herbs and bushes, one bordering the canal, and other established and developing gardens. Some have steps and can be steep in parts.
This is a hilly village with splendid views - you may need to use your car for the hills.
Tea, coffee and cake served in the Parochial Hall, Clough Lea (next to the Church). Plenty of village cafes and pubs if you arrive early. Look out for the red and green balloons at each garden.
All proceeds for St Bartholomew's Church, Marsden.
Plant sales: Some gardens may have plants for sale.
Cost: £4.00 per adult, accompanied children free.
How to get event passports: Entry by route plan available from 1.00pm on the day from St. Bartholomew's Church, Church Lane, the Parochial Hall, Clough Lea (next to the Church), most of the participating gardens, or Enjoy Art @ 12 Peel Street, Marsden (from 11.00am).

Directions: Marsden is 7 miles west of Huddersfield, along the A62. Postcode is for the centre of the village near Enjoy Art. Plenty of signage on the day.
