Blundeston Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2020
Sorry, but Blundeston Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 11 gardens opened Blundeston, near Lowestoft, Suffolk
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2019
10.00am to 4.00pm

A range of gardens will be open to the public over the weekend and most are open on both days. Gardens are scattered around Blundeston so it may be necessary to take the car to some of the gardens in the furthest outreaches of the village.

This year the village is highlighting Awareness of various charities and conditions into our planting scheme and these will be represented by displays around Blundeston.

The bowls club is also open and, weather permitting, visitors are invited to try their hand at green bowls on Saturday. There is a match taking place on Sunday, but visitors are still invited to view the Bowls Club garden.

Blundeston Art Club will be exhibiting in the village hall and paintings will be on sale.

Refreshments will be available in some gardens and 10% discount is offered on meals at The Plough for all visitors on production of the entry map.

All proceeds to Blundeston in Bloom.

Cost:  5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
