Berwick St. James Open Gardens
Berwick St. James, near Salisbury, Wiltshire
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June 2018
1.00pm to 5.00pm
Nestled in the River Till valley, Berwick St James is a lovely tranquil village which has not changed much over the decades. Following a very successful first Open Gardens in 2015, this year we are offering visitors the chance to see more delightful gardens - large and small - all offering something different to savour. Amazing varieties of roses, rare plants, winning cottage gardens, unusual trees, wildflower settings and more. Many of the gardens have stunning views of the valley and surrounding woodland while others have river frontage offering diverse wildlife.
There will be a barbecue with refreshments (from midday), arts and crafts exhibition, along with teas and delicious cakes. A garden-themed raffle will take place on Sunday. Canine friends are welcome on short leads.
Proceeds to The Wiltshire Air Ambulance, St James Church, The Reading Room and Community Fund.
