Harrogate Open Gardens: Stone Rings Close and Oatlands Community
Stone Rings Close, Harrogate
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May 2017
12.00noon to 5.00pm
Early in the 20th century, Stone Rings was a quarry, so the topography is challenging for making gardens. Three of the gardens have a beck running through them with woodland areas. One has been remodelled recently and another has a gold award for being wildlife friendly. Another garden is child friendly, having play equipment.
This year we are also linking with Oatlands Community with two more gardens open.
Refreshments available, along with a children's quiz.
All proceeds split evenly between the local Samaritans, Carers' Resource and Perennial.
Plant sales: There will be plants for sale.
Cost: £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free..
How to get event passports: Buy tickets at the entry garden in the Close, or at any open garden.
Number of gardens: Approximately 6 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
