Aston by Stone Open Gardens
This event ran in 2017 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.
Aston by Stone, Staffordshire
Sunday 9th July 2017
10.00am to 4.00pm
Please take this opportunity to visit the secret gardens hidden in the picturesque typical English village of Aston by Stone. Enjoy the tranquil setting of gardens of several acres with pools and some of only a few square yards, yet all with wonderful individual features. Relax in the shade of the steeple of the beautiful old village church.
This year the event will include classic cars on show in the gardens, cream teas to die for (no calories, honest), a tree carving demonstration by the nationally recognised tree carver, Anthony Hammond, and specially for the children we have garden games and an 'Animal Hunt with Prizes for All'.
The 150 year old village church and grounds will be open for all to wander around.
The villagers all look forward to seeing you and telling you the story behind their individual creations.
All proceeds will be going to the installation of a new kitchen at the village hall.
