Sorry, but Walton Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

11.00am to 4.00pm

Enthusiastic village gardeners will open their gardens to visitors and share their ideas and experiences. There will be stalls in most of the gardens, and refreshments, stalls and gardening advice at the Village Hall.

There will be a children's treasure hunt, with faces to find in each garden, and there is a well equipped playground opposite the village hall. There is a grand raffle with gardening-related prizes. The New Inn will be serving meals.

All proceeds to the Walton Community Library.

Plant sales:  Plant sales at various gardens.

Cost:  Adults 5.00 in advance, 6.00 on the day, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  Buy passports from Walton Library, the New Inn, Walton Stores or Cherry Tree Stores or on the day from any garden. There is a map inside each passport, and gardens may be visited in any order.

Directions:  Off-road parking available at the Village Hall on School Lane, at the Library (at Walton Academy, off The Grove) and off Manor Road (with kind permission from En Route Hairdressers).
