Bodenham Open Village and Gardens

 approx 11 gardens open Bodenham, between Hereford and Leominster, Herefordshire
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July 2017
11.00am to 5.00pm

Varied gardens will be open over a distance of approximately 1.75 miles and will feature one of the gardens shown on Monty Don's Big Dreams and Small Spaces programme televised in 2016.

This year, in addition to the gardens there will be a flower display at the church, themed to Celebrate Summer, stalls selling an interesting variety of local produce gifts and handicrafts, pony rides, zip-wire bears, a brass band, classic cars on the village green, arts and crafts at the Chapel and pony and cart rides around part of the village.

There will be Face Painting and the author Geoff Booth and his Henry Books will be at Millcroft Farm.

Refreshments, teas, homemade cakes and ploughman's lunches will be available at St Michael and All Angels Church and Millcroft Farm. Please come and visit us in this ancient village deep in our glorious Herefordshire countryside.

All proceeds will go to support the maintenance of St Michael and All Angels Church in Bodenham.

Plant sales:  Plant sales are being offered by local enthusiasts and by our village nurseryman, David Griffiths, at the church.

Cost:  5.00 per person covers both days, accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:  Tickets are available at the church and the gazebo on The Green. For advance ticket sales please contact us.

Directions:  Bodenham village can be accessed from the A417 Gloucester to Leominster road or the A49 from Hereford north (7 miles)or directly from Hereford city on the C1125.
