This event is resting for 2018
Sorry, but Brigsteer Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

Sunday 28th May 2017

Brigsteer is a beautiful Lakeland village on the slopes of Scout Scar / Helsington Barrows. The gardens are very interesting due to the terrain and the views across the Lyth Valley. A local resident will be available to give advice about vegetable growing.

The village is also the location of a bee reserve, so many gardens are designed to attract bees. The local bee-keeper will be giving a talk in the village hall during the event.

There will be stalls selling plants, honey and garden bric-a-brac.
