Purton Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2018
Sorry, but Purton Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

approx 20 gardens opened Purton, near Swindon, Wiltshire
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July 2017
10.30am to 4.30pm

The weekend has been running for nearly 20 years, raising money for local charities. We have a mix of gardens, some open for just one day, many over the whole weekend. Our gardens are different sizes, at different stages of development and with various challenges. None of us claim to have pristine backyards, but we are all enthusiastic.

Several gardens will be selling refreshments and have stalls to raise additional money for their own individual charities.

Programme proceeds to Brighter Futures and Jubilee Gardens Project.

Plant sales:  Plant sales at some gardens.

Cost:  5.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get event passports:  Programmes allowing entry available in advance from venues around the village, or buy programmes on the day from any garden.
