Sheepscombe Open Garden Trail and Sheep Hunt

approx 12 gardens open Sheepscombe, near Stroud, Gloucestershire
Sunday 2nd July 2017
2.00pm to 6.00pm

Our village will offer diverse gardens, many of them for the first time to the public, along a meandering two mile trail set in the beautiful Painswick Valley.

Take in as many or as few gardens as you like while walking through the surrounding woodland and countryside in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Children are most welcome - come join our Sheep Hunt and Find our Sheep.

Some gardens have spectacular views, others are nestled intimately in the hillside offering peace and seclusion. Enjoy our water features, vegetable gardens, mature trees, wildflower areas, play areas, and even a small Japanese garden. One thing in common is our love of gardens and nature.

We offer two refreshment stops, one at each end of the trail, for cream teas, and one garden with ice creams. There will be a raffle and a bit of gentle music in one of the gardens as well.

All the proceeds will go to our village school - Sheepscombe School.

Plant sales:  Plant sale at the village hall.

Cost:  6.00 adults, accompanied children free, 1.00 per Sheep Hunt sheet.

How to get event passports:  Fromn the Village Hall or one of the gardens closest to Bulls Cross parking.
