Oxton Secret Gardens
Oxton Conservation Area, Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside
Sunday 14th May 2017
10.00am to 5.00pm
This is the 15th annual opportunity to view private gardens in the pleasant conservation village of Oxton. We know you'll be charmed by the range of gardens on display, all in walking distance of each other, from tiny courtyards and front garden plots to spacious borders and landscaped lawns, all creations of local gardeners who generously open their gates for charity.
The event has become much associated with the splendid gardens as with the enticing range of refreshments from local pubs, restaurants and street stalls, the live music, strolling actors and musicians musicians and the arts and crafts, children's activities and plants for sale.
Children's activities include Punch and Judy, a fairground organ, pony rides and face painting. The event won Winner of the Wirral Tourism Event of the Year 2013.
