Netherbury Open Gardens

approx 10 gardens open Netherbury, just south of Beaminster, Dorset
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2017
1.00pm to 5.00pm

Netherbury first opened its gardens to visitors in 1963 and hopes to continue for many years to come.

We have an amazing variety of gardens to view, including some NGS gardens, and this is the only time they can all be seen on the same day. These are The Mill House, Hatchlands, and Slape Manor. The Mill House is featured in The Country Life issue of 13th February 2013, "A river runs through it". Besides these stars there are about ten other gardens scattered through the village and on the surrounding hills providing a wealth of different styles and sizes. There really is a garden for everyone.

The village also prides itself on the quality of the home-made lunches served in the Village Hall and teas, cream teas, local wines and cider are available to refresh our visitors, as well as a bottle tombola and children's activities.

Proceeds go to our church and other local charities.
