We invite you to spend an afternoon in Cardington village, located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Come and enjoy our warm hospitality and the incredible variety of our gardens.
We offer one of the most charming group openings in the Marches. The gardens surrounding our ancient stone buildings include a 2-acre Rectory garden, various cottage, formal and water gardens, and a romantic roomed garden which opens into a wild flower meadow.
Home made light lunches and Cream Teas will be on offer in the Village Hall with tea and cakes also available down at Gulley Green. Dogs on leads are permitted in some gardens (please ask the owners).
Proceeds shared between St James Church, Cardington and Shropshire Historic Churches Trust.
Cost: £5.00 adults, accompanied children under 12 free.

Directions: Find us 5 miles northeast of Church Stretton. From Shrewsbury take A49 south, turn left at Leebotwood after The Pound Inn for Cardington. From Ludlow/Church Stretton turn right off A49 at traffic lights onto B4371 turn left at Wall for Cardington. From Much Wenlock, take B4371 turn right at Longville for Cardington. You will reach Gulley Green first (where tickets are sold) should you be coming down the A49 to Leebotwood from the direction of Shrewsbury.
