Don't miss the biennial Open Gardens in the attractive and historic canal-side village of Shardlow. A great treat for a gardening minded Dad on Father's Day - with a Heritage Centre and eight pubs to visit as well.

A wide variety of gardens will be on show, they seem to get better every time. Church and Bell Tower open to visitors. Refreshments available.

Charities and local good causes supported this year include Treetops, Shardlow Primary School and Shardlow Heritage Centre.

Cost:  3.00 for adults, accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:  Map and entry passes available on the day from the Heritage Centre, school field garden and participating gardens.
