A collection of wonderfully diverse private gardens open, with several gardens that have never opened to the public before. Gardens are located in Brighton and along the coast.
Our Patron is TV Gardener Christine Walkden. Jim Buttress, renowned horticultutalist, as seen on TV in The Big Allotment Challenge, will be opening the event at Driftwood at 11am on the 28th July.
Tea and cakes will be available at some gardens. Full details with maps and pictures of all gardens opening on website link below.
Proceeds to the new Cancer Support Centre in Brighton.
Plant sales: There will be plant sales at some gardens.
Cost: £6.00 for a day pass or £2.00 for entry to individual gardens.
How to get event passports: Tickets will be available to purchase at any open garden over the weekend.
Number of gardens: Approximately 25 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
