Bellerby Open Gardens is a very popular fund raising event for local good causes, with many of the residents having opened their gardens for a number of years.
Over a dozen gardens regularly open (often many more) both large and small, well established and new, enabling everyone to see ideas that they can use themselves.
With jazz in the afternoon, gardens spread within easy walking distance throughout this attractive village of becks and bridges, a scarecrow trail, plant sales and other stalls, refreshments available all day in the hall with an adjacent children's play area, there's plenty to see and do even if the weather isn't at its best.
Proceeds go towards any village causes and projects.
Plant sales: Plant Sales at various gardens and at the Memorial Hall.
Cost: £4.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Tickets available on the day - at the car parking entrances.
