Henfield Open Gardens and Arts

This free Festival of Gardens and Art, in its 19th year, opens many intimate private and public gardens of all shapes and sizes, all easy to walk to and is wheelchair friendly.
Participating are individual artists' houses, studios, and groups of artists in the Henfield Hall and churches etc. Open too are other community clubs, pubs and coffee shops. Many serve homemade food, teas, cakes, lunches, drinks and sell plants and host music events.
Available will be a wide variety of art and crafts, such as ceramics, jewellery, paintings, sculptures and wood turning. It is a great event to share with friends and family.
Donations go to local charities.
Plant sales: Plants for sale in some gardens and venues.
Cost: Free entry to all gardens and venues. Donations are welcomed in the collecting tins.
How to get event passports: The free Blue Leaflet - available from gardens, Information Table in the high street, retail outlets in village and distributed within the county. Or download from from our website.
Number of gardens: Approximately 30 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
