Sorry, but Canewdon Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 10 gardens opened Canewdon, near Rochford, Essex
Sunday 12th June 2016
11.00am to 5.00pm

A variety of country gardens in and around the Village of Canewdon will be open. The Church will also be open for a Flower Festival, tower tours and bell ringing demonstrations - there is a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside and the Thames Estuary from the top of the tower.

Ploughmans lunches at the Village Hall, and cakes and cream teas will be served at some of the participating gardens.

Proceeds to Canewdon Horticultural Society, Canewdon Church Fund and Canewdon Community Association.

Cost:  Adults 4.00, accompanied children free.

How to get event passports:  For entry to all the gardens and a map, buy a programme on the day from Canewdon Village Hall.

Directions:  Canewdon is about six and a half miles north of Southend Airport, via Rochford.
