This event is now in its 25th year and as usual a wide variety of gardens will be open within the parish. These will range in size from country house gardens to spacious cottage gardens, one with a meandering stream, another with a beautiful bog garden; smaller plots cleverly designed to make the most of steep slopes. A miniature steam railway is a major feature in one particular garden.
Children can play 'Hunt the Hidden Object' in each garden. The village Scarecrow Competition will be ongoing and visitors votes will be most welcome. Garden Codeword Puzzle and prize. Cream Teas.
All proceeds to the Parish Church and Hall.
Plant sales: Plant sales will be available in some gardens.
Cost: £5.00 covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.
How to get event passports: Pick up a map from the church car park.
Number of gardens: Approximately 11 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
