Herne and Broomfield Garden Safari

Herne and Broomfield, near Herne Bay, Kent

10.00am to 5.00pm
One of the biggest Open Gardens Day in Kent, the open gardens range from the tiny but perfectly formed to large and lovely, with one or two still 'work in progress'. The gardens include Herne Infant and Junior Schools and Herne and Broomfield Allotment Gardens.
There will be ploughman's lunches, cakes and cream teas at selected gardens. At Herne windmill, there will be a raffle, art display and plants for sale. Our historic Parish Map will also be on sale.
Proceeds this year to Catching Lives and the new Herne Community Centre projects.
Plant sales: Plant sales at selected gardens and at Herne Mill.
Cost: £4.00 adults, accompanied children free.
How to get event passports: Entry is by programme which contains descriptions of gardens and map, available from Herne Mill and participating gardens.
