Buckland Newton Open Gardens
 | This event is resting for 2013 Sorry, but Buckland Newton Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event |
Buckland Newton, south of Sherborne, Dorset Sunday 24th June 2012 1.00pm to 6.00pm
Amongst lush north Dorset meadow land and gentle rounded hills, Buckland Newton is a timeless settlement dating back to Saxon times.
The Open Gardens event this summer will be an opportunity to see round gardens in the village dating from early 1700s up to our 21st century allotments. Together with two wild flower meadows, refreshments, teas and ice creams, plant and local produce stalls, it will be a great afternoon out. Why not enjoy Sunday lunch at the Gaggle of Geese beforehand? Sorry, but no dogs please.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Julia's House Childrens Hospice and Holy Rood Church.
Plant sales: There will be plant stalls and also produce stalls.
Cost: Entry £3.50 adults, children free.
How to get event passports: Tickets at Reception Desk on the day.
