Please note
This event rested in 2018 so we don't have any recent event details. When we get updated information, we'll add it here, but in the meantime we include below event information from a previous year to remind you about the event.

approx 7 gardens opened Seaton, near Uppingham, Rutland
Sunday 14th June 2015
2.00pm to - 6.00pm

We are aming to have between 6 and 8 gardens open this year with some new gardens as well as old favourites - some small, some large - in this quiet conservation village.

We have stunning views over the Welland Valley and Welland Valley viaduct, completed in 1882 with 82 spans. All Hallows' Church dates from the Norman times and the original Chancel, arch and doorway still exist. The building was added to in the 14th century and substantially renovated in the late 19th century.

There will be a display of Quilts by the Class of 2010 Quilting Group and Lynne Vale, from Rutland Sewing, Ashwell, will be on hand to help with enquiries, information with regard to quilting / sewing classes and she will also have a limited amount of items for sale.

Not all gardens will be suitable for those with limited mobility, but all assistance will be given. Homemade refreshments will be available as well as a cake stall selling homemade cakes and biscuits.

All proceeds will go to All Hallows' Church, Seaton and All Saints Church, Oakham.

Plant sales
It is hoped that there will be a plant stall.

4.00, accompanied children under 15 free.

How to get event passports
Tickets with a map of the gardens will be on sale at any numbered garden and the Village Hall.
