Nunney, near Frome, Somerset Sunday 30th June 2013 11.00am to 5.00pm
Usually we have about 20-30 gardens open in this charming village which has a ruined, moated castle. The gardens range from large, with a walled garden, to a patio garden and everything in between!
There will be a few newly opened gardens this year and a minibus to take visitors to the top of the village to see those which are a bit far away for walking.
Light refreshments will be available in the Village Hall and a plant stall in the Market Place will have produce from the village gardens for sale.
Parking will be at the Village Hall and the Old Quarry Gardens to keep the narrow streets in the village free. Please note that dogs will not be admitted to the gardens.
The proceeds of this day help to fund various horticultural activities in the village including the Nunney Flower Show - this year to be held on Saturday 7th September.
Plant sales: There will be a plant stall featuring plants contributed by villagers.
Cost: £5.00 - accompanied children free.
How to get event passports: A map/passport of gardens will be available from a stall in the centre of the village.
