Chawton, near Alton, Hampshire Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2017 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Walk in the footsteps of Jane Austen in her beloved Hampshire Home. Enjoy a special afternoon exploring the gardens of Chawton House Library and Jane Austen's House Museum as well as other charming gardens.
Find the scarecrows around Chawton by following the scarecrow trail during the Open Gardens - you can even vote for your favourite scarecrow in the People's Choice¯ category.
Horse and carriage rides, plant stalls, tea and cakes and an arts and crafts exhibition.
Profits to go to village projects.

How to get event passports: Tickets available at the car parks, Chawton House and some of the private gardens including 1 Pond Cottages which is opposite Jane Austen's House Museum.
