This event is resting for 2018 Sorry, but Swannington in Bloom (Norfolk) isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event
Swannington, near Norwich, Norfolk Sunday 25th June 2017 10.00am to 5.00pm
A number of gardens will be open, ranging from Swannington Manor with its three-hundred-year-old yew hedge to The Old Rectory and its beautiful rose gardens, to the Woodland Wander reclaimed three years ago after decades of neglect.
Cream teas, homemade cakes and ice cream are available in various gardens. Pimm's Terrace at the Manor plus real ale from Reepham-based Panther Ale on the Common alongside barbecue by Swannington Farm to Fork. Cold drinks and snacks, ice cream van, tombola and displays of classic cars on Swannington Common.
St Margaret's Church will also be open, serving teas alongside a display of art and crafts by local artists.
All proceeds go to St Margarets Church and Swannington Play Area.
Plant sales: Plant sales on the common and at The Old Rectory. The fabulous Romantic Garden Nursery will also be open - www.romantic-garden-nursery.co.uk.
Cost: £5.00 per person, £4.00 in advance (check website for details of where to buy). Includes car parking and entrance to all gardens.
