Please note This event ran in 2017 but we don't yet have this year's details. When we get them, we'll add them, but in the meantime we include below event information from last year to remind you about the event.
Tutbury, near Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June 2017 12.00noon to 6.00pm (some gardens vary)
Tutbury is an historic Staffordshire village with a lovely high street and a magnificent castle and Norman church.
A range of lovely gardens will be open to the public over the weekend. We hope to have a bee keepers observation hive in one of the gardens. A courtesy bus will be available both days to make visiting the outlying gardens easier.
The church will be open with an exhibition and music. Cream teas, refreshments, and musical entertainment will be available. Sorry, no dogs please.
All proceeds towards the conservation of the unique alabaster arch at the west end of the beautiful Priory Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Tutbury.
Plant sales: Plant and produce sales at various gardens and in the centre of the village.
Cost: £4.00 per adult to cover both days, accompanied children free of charge.
How to get event passports: Buy a programme and entry ticket on the day from the Open Gardens Welcome Desk at Duke Street carpark, or from participating gardens.
