West Kington Open Gardens
 | This event is resting for 2013 Sorry, but West Kington Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event |
West Kington, near Chippenham and Bath, Wiltshire Sunday 17th June 2012 1.30pm to 5.30pm
West Kington has a reputation for some fabulous private gardens, and with good reason since two garden designers live in the village alongside two landscape gardeners, a specialist topiary nursery, a wholesale plant nursery and a bevy of keen flower and veg enthusiasts.
The village is situated beside the idyllic waters of Broadmead Brook in the rolling countryside of Wiltshire.
This is a great opportunity to get inspiration and meet fellow gardeners, but to make sure everyone has a great time we will also be selling homemade cream teas and a wide variety of plants and local produce.
Proceeds from the entrance fee to St Mary the Virgin Church and a raffle for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Plant sales: There will be a plant sale at the lowest point in the village, overlooked by the church.
Cost: Tickets are £5.00 with children under 16 welcomed for free.
How to get event passports: Buy tickets on arrival at the free car parks located on two key access roads.
