Open Gardens Train

steam train image You can get to Quorn from Loughborough, Rothley and Leicester North by using the Great Central Railway. They run regular services and use both steam and diesel trains - more information is available on their own website.

The Quorn station is close to Chaveney Road and is quite walkable to the village centre - about 10 minutes. When you come out of the station, turn right and pass the Manor House pub. Turn right onto Chaveney road and follow the road into the village centre. Some gardens may well be open on this road, so look out for the signs - you can buy a passport at any open garden.

When you reach the village centre, you'll be at a mini-roundabout near The White Horse Pub and The Royal Oak. Turn left here and walk up to The Banks where there is a plant sale and where you can buy your Open Gardens Passport.
