Baildon Open Gardens

Baildon invites you to our Open Garden event. Gardens are diverse in size as they are in content, but all have one thing in common - an enthusiastic person to greet you and share their passion of gardening with you.

Saturday’s gardens are around the Station Road area, Sunday's gardens are West Lane area.

Also open is a community garden and a countryside centre that opens to the public occasionally.

Refreshments available at selected houses.

Proceeds:  Proceeds from admission go to Dementia Friendly Baildon and other local charities.

Plant sales:  Plants for sale in selected gardens and from the Community Gardens.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  On the day from the Post Office, Station Road (till 12.30pm), The Mews, Roundwood Road, Bracken Hall Countryside Centre, Glen Road, and any participating garden; in advance (from 1st June) from The Post Office, Station Road.

Number of gardens:  Approximately 7 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.

Toilet Facilities:  Toilets are available at this event.

Directions / Parking:  Our gardens this year are spread from the train station to Shipley Glenn, each participating garden will display signage. Taking in all gardens involves a walk of some four miles.
