Purton Open Gardens

approx 26 gardens open Purton, near Swindon, Wiltshire
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2026
10.30am to 4.00pm

This weekend event has been running since 1998, raising money for local causes. We have a mix of gardens, some open for just one day, many over the whole weekend. Our gardens are different sizes, at different stages of development and with various challenges. None of us claim to have pristine backyards, but we are all enthusiastic.

Several gardens will be selling refreshments and have stalls to raise additional money for their own individual charities. There will also be other establishments open for food and drink. Purton is a long village, please be ready for some walking.

Proceeds:  Proceeds to Jubilee Gardens Projects and The Prospect Hospice.

Cost:  £7.50 adults, covers both days, accompanied under 16s free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Programmes allowing entry available in advance from venues around the village, or buy programmes on the day from any participating garden.

Number of gardens:  Approximately 26 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.
