Monkton Open Gardens

Monkton Open Gardens has been running bi-annually since 1992. This will be the 17th time the residents of Monkton have opened their gardens to the public.

Varied assortment of gardens open will be open along with garden stalls and a compost display with a wormery and information.

Our ancient village church will be open with churchyard tours.

Lunches and refreshments available in the village hall.

Proceeds:  Proceeds in aid of church and village hall.

Plant sales:  Plant sales at various gardens.

Cost:  £5.00 per person, accompanied under 14s free. Reduced entry price at Monkton Nature Reserve with a valid garden map.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Buy a map from any participating garden or from our village hall.

Number of gardens:  Approximately 10 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.

Directions / Parking:  Please park thoughtfully through out our village. Some limited mobility parking available in the school car park.
