Berden Open Gardens

approx 8 gardens open Berden, near Bishops Stortford, Herts
Sunday 28th June 2026
2.00pm to 6.00pm

Come and visit our lovely village gardens including Little London and Berden Priory.

Each of our gardeners will welcome the opportunity to pass the time of day with you, eager to make your visit a great experience. Our gardens will offer you their own individual colour and character, sweeping lawns and views of our countryside, water features, beautiful flowers and borders, oh so cared for vegetables or a cosy place to sit and ponder.

As well as an idea or two, you might like to take home some fresh garden produce or a plant.

Visit a 17th Century Tread Wheel, a beautiful piece of engineering, well worth the visit. Be surprised at just how long it takes for water to hit bottom - one of only two working water wheels in the country.

Be entertained by two of our resident Bands - Afinado Jazz Band and Wild Roses songsters. There will also be vintage bus rides and a bee-keeping exhibit.

Stop for some refreshment at either of two locations.
