Slapton Open Gardens

This event is resting for 2026 Sorry, but Slapton Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

Slapton, between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, Devon
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2022
1.30pm to 5.30pm

A fascinating range of gardens will be open around the delightful village of Slapton. Courtyards, eco-gardens, beautiful borders, mature gardens, productive vegetable gardens and ongoing developing gardens.

There will be an exhibition of work by local artists in a studio at one of the gardens.

The village and gardens are hilly and not really suitable for wheelchairs or people with reduced mobility.

Lovely cream teas with home-made cakes in the church, and local ice cream.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rowcroft Hospice and St. James the Great church.

Plant sales:  There will be a well stocked plant market, all plants grown in village gardens.

Cost:  £5.00 adults, accompanied children free. Cash preferred, as mobile connections are unpredictable.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Buy tickets on the day at the village hall.
