Challock Open Gardens
Challock, near Faversham and Ashford, Kent Sunday 7th June 2026 10.00am to 5.00pm
Challock boasts some fabulous, interesting gardens and unique plant collections. Gardens that are normally hidden from the public will open in the lovely, picturesque village of Challock, on top of the North Downs. Discover, explore and be inspired.
A wide variety of gardens are open, from newly planted borders to gardens with specimen plants, shrubs and trees. They range from extensive wildflower and tree meadows, cottage gardens, an amazing Japanese themed garden, ponds, water features and vegetable plots and a private collection of over 300 cacti and succulents.
Miniature Garden Competition - children 12 years and younger are invited to create a miniature garden in any container. Gardens will be on display in the Village Hall. Contact the organiser for more information.
Enjoy all the pleasure of beautiful gardens without having to do any work. A great day out for all the family, get ideas or just relax. A quintessential lovely Kentish village.
The beautiful church which is over 800 years old will also be open for visitors.
Indulge with delicious savouries and homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks, along the way at various gardens and the Village Hall.
Proceeds: Proceeds in aid of British Heart Foundation and The Friends of Challock Church.
Plant sales: There will be plants for sale.
Cost: £7.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free, cash and cards accepted.
How to get tickets / programmes: On the day adjacent to the parking areas in the village - The Lees and the Village Hall; in advance from 15th May from The Barn Shop in Challock.

Directions / Parking: Mos gardens are within easy walking distance or a short drive from each other, off the main village green - The Lees. A free minibus is available to access gardens further from the village centre.
