Great Bedwyn Open Gardens

approx 16 gardens open Great Bedwyn, southeast of Marlborough, Wiltshire
Sunday 28th June 2026
1.00pm to 5.00pm

There are many beautiful gardens throughout the village, all within walking distance of historic 13th century St. Marys Church, which is the centre of our small rural village. These include a large formal garden and pretty small cottage gardens. Some of our allotments are also opening (no dogs other than assistance dogs please in the allotments).

This year we will be highlighting ways to support nature recovery by making our gardens more wildlife-friendly. In addition, several rain gardens, rain planters and water butts created 2024 are included; public rain gardens at the school and doctor’s surgery will also be accessible. These are to slow up rainwater runoff and harvest more rainwater to help mitigate flooding.

Refreshments, hot and cold drinks, rolls and home made cakes will be available in our Church.
