Sorry, but Burston Open Gardens isn't running this year. We'll keep you posted about next year's event details when they are known, but in the meantime we include below details from a previous year to remind you about the event

 approx 12 gardens opened Burston, near Diss, South Norfolk
Sunday 11th May 2025
10.00am to 4.00pm

The gardens are scattered around the village, so getting between gardens at opposite ends of the village can take time.

Burston Strike School, with a display recording the longest strike in history, will be open also a collection of Automobilia and Vintage Cars.

Some garden owners will provide refreshments, ploughman’s lunch or tea and cakes.

Proceeds:  Proceeds to village projects and community kitchen.

Plant sales:  Plants will be for sale grown by garden owners.

Cost:  Adults £5.00, accompanied children free. Cash only please.

How to get tickets / programmes:  Tickets on the day from the Pavilion on Recreation Ground, Crown Green.

Toilet Facilities:  Toilets are available at this event.

Directions / Parking:  We are two miles north of Diss Town on the right after the crossroads and village school. Also via Shimpling, turning off A140 to Norwich through the village, beyond the level crossing, on the right. There are two car parks but also, for some more distant gardens, roadside parking.
