Blunsdon Open Gardens

Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2026 12.00noon to 5.00pm
A walk amongst our Blunsdon open gardens is to experience all the variety that gardens can offer - established perennials, cottage borders, formal arrangements, vegetable plots and something a bit on the wild side. Some are geared towards children, others towards nurturing wildlife. A truly inclusive village event and this year we are inspired by bees, see how many you can spot.
There will be a super Scarecrow Trail with over 40 entries.
In the church the bells will be ringing and there will be an exhibition and sale of art.
Refreshments available with cooked breakfasts 10.00am and afternoon teas from 1.30pm in the Village Hall. Additionally there are local pubs, and a community shop and café.
Proceeds: All proceeds to St. Leonards Church and The Prospect Hospice.
Cost: £5.00 adults, covers both days, accompanied children free. Optional Scarecrow Trail maps £5.00 per family.
How to get tickets / programmes: Buy on the day from the Village Hall from 10.00am.
Number of gardens: Approximately 8 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.

Directions / Parking: Blunsdon is near to Swindon just off the A419. Limited mobility parking at the Village Hall, otherwise please park at Blunsdon House Hotel or our Community Shop.
