Bungay Open Gardens
Bungay, between Diss and Lowestoft, Suffolk Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2026 10.00am to 4.00pm
Welcome to the BOG (Bungay Open Gardens) where gardens of all shapes and sizes will be open over two days.
This is not a horticultural event but a chance to be amazed at the creativity and wonder that exists all around us. The focus is getting around and meeting your neighbours and having delightful chats with strangers.
Our lovely gardens will delight you. Have a wonderful day and no dogs please other than assistance dogs.
Proceeds: All proceeds will be shared between BACT (Bungay Community Transport) and Bungay Christmas Lights.
Cost: Free - donations buckets at each garden.
How to get tickets / programmes: Free maps available from Gelatos ice cream shop on the Buttercross.
Number of gardens: Approximately 23 gardens will be open, but the total may vary from day to day - please contact the organisers if you need exact numbers.

Toilet Facilities: There are no toilets available at this event. If this might prove problematic for you, please contact the organisers.
Directions / Parking: None of the gardens have parking, please park in the towns car parks, walk to Gelao and Sorbetto at the Buttercross and collect your map.
