Garden Village will come alive this summer as it hosts its very first Open Gardens event - a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and the beauty of one of the area’s most charming historic neighbourhoods.

For one special day, visitors are invited to explore unique private gardens, each offering its own character, planting style, and inspiration. From peaceful retreats to colourful floral displays, the event promises something for seasoned gardeners, families, and curious visitors alike.

Among the highlights, attendees will have the rare opportunity to visit gardens at Dove House Hospice and Holderness House, adding a meaningful and historic dimension to the day. Visitors to Dove House Hospice will also be able to explore its beautiful memory garden and enjoy our on-site Café The Kitchen.

Adding a touch of magic, the event will also feature six enchanting Fairy Trails dotted throughout the village. These imaginative displays can be viewed from the front gates or hedges of participating homes, offering a delightful experience for children and families.
