Charlton Village near Malmesbury in Wiltshire is delighted to be hosting a village community Open Gardens event.
Gardens range from traditional cottage garden planting, to larger modern and traditional gardens; walled gardens; small woodlands; fruit and vegetable gardens; water features and ponds; all within walking distance.
In addition, a short two minute drive away on the outskirts of the village there is a large meadow and trees relaxation and creativity garden. Parking is available there.
Charlton Cricket Club will be having a home match, and the listed 800+ year old village church St. John the Baptist will be open to visitors.
Tea and refreshments at the village hall.
No dogs please other than assistance dogs.
Proceeds: Proceeds to the refurbishment and replacement of play equipment in the children’s play area at Charlton Village Hall playing field.
Cost: £6.00 adults, accompanied children free.
How to get tickets / programmes: On the day from the village hall; in advance, please pre-order from Charlton Village Hall (by email) and then validate at the Village Hall on the day.
