Dalton Village Open Gardens

approx 14 gardens open Dalton, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Saturday 13th June 2026
10.00am to 4.00pm

Villagers in Dalton near Thirsk are opening their garden gates for the very first time and very much look forward to welcoming you.

Whether you love gardening and visiting gardens or you just fancy visiting somewhere new, we have something for all the family from vintage vehicles in gardens to children's garden games, bouncy castle, and 'find and name the ladybirds'.

Our church will have a floral display, and there will be craft stalls.

Of course any Open Gardens wouldn't be complete without tea and delicious handmade bakes - available in two locations.

There are disabled facilities at the Village Hall and where possible there is access to gardens but due to the narrowness of some paths there is limited access in some gardens.

No dogs please other than assistance dogs.

Proceeds:  All proceeds to Dalton Church and Village Hall.

Plant sales:  There will be a plant stall - plants grown by villagers and a small donation of plants from a local plant nursery.

Cost:  £6.00 adults, accompanied 17s and under free.

How to get tickets / programmes:  On the day from the Village Hall and The Crest - cash only please.
